Saving the Future

"What is to be Done?"

Humanity faces an ever accelerating and uncertain future. We are all acquainted with the panoply of individual problems faced by our country and the international community. Solutions are many and controversial. But sometimes instead of being "policy wonks", we need to step back for a broader view, scan the forest instead of the trees. It is this view and its implications for action with which we are concerned here.

Note: As this site came to be conceived, the phrase "What is to be Done?" kept running through the conceiver's head. It is most commonly associated with an early publication of Lenin. But in using this title, Lenin was echoing an utopian novel by Nikolai Chernyshevsky, an effort for which Chernyshevsky was rewarded by seven years in prison.
